The machine not starting
- Please ensure the battery is fully charged
- Ensure the GREEN lights are on
- If there are any RED lights then the battery may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
- Ensure the battery is fully inserted into the machine, ensure there is no debris stuck in any of the battery terminals.
- Ensure the safety key has been properly inserted and turned to the left
- Ensure your starting procedure is correct using the user manual
- Ensure the OPC cable is connected to the OPC lever
Self-propel will not work
- Ensure you are pulling on the drive cable to engage the drive
- Ensure the drive cable is attached at both the lever and the gearbox
- Check the adjustment of the Drive cable. If it is too lose then the cable will not pull on the clutch enough to engage the drive. Try tightening the drive cable
If the above is all OK you will have to drain the oil and fuel from the machine and have a look at the underside of the machine
- Check under the machine to make sure there is nothing obstructing the wheels from turning
- Remove the blade and belt cover to expose the belt, pulleys and gearbox.
- Check that the drive cable is attached to the gearbox
- Check that the drive belts are on all of the pulleys
- Check that the belt tension spring is attached to the gearbox and the chassis of the machine
- Check the alignment of all of the pulleys, if any of them are out of alignment then the belt will come off and the drive will not work
