Maintenance & Care
WARNING!
- Always switch the machine off to perform any maintenance. Remove the power cable from the power source and allow the machine to cool down before performing any maintenance or inspection.
- Only perform repairs/maintenance outlined in this manual. Any additional repairs will need to be repaired by a qualified professional.
General Cleaning:
- Clean the machine with a dry cloth. Use a brush for areas that are hard to reach. In particular, clean the air vents after every use with a cloth and brush.
- Removes stubborn dirt with high-pressure air (max 3 bar).
General Inspection:
Inspect the machines components before and after every use. Visually check all the electrical parts and components. If there’s any damage to power cord, this must be repaired by the manufacturer.
UK Plug:
Thecolours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in t h e plug, proceed as follows. The wire, which is coloured blue, must be connected to the terminal, which is marked with N or coloured black. The wire, which is coloured brown, must be connected to the terminal, which is marked L or coloured red.
- No connection is to be made to the Earth terminal of the plug.
- Only fit an approved 5Amp BS1363iAplug and the correct rated fuse.
- lf in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
- NOTE: lf a moulded plug is fitted and has to be removed take great care in disposing of the plug and severed cable, it must be destroyed to prevent engaging
Cleaning the drum:
- Clean the machine after every use. When you are finished with mixing, rinse the inside of the drum to loosen up all debris. If there’s more stubborn material stuck to the inside of the drum carry out the following:
1. Put the machine into the loading position and turn on.
2. Add water, then add aggregate or small gravel chippings.
3. Let this mix until all the material from the inside of the drum has been removed.
4. Tilt the machine forward and discharge the contents. Always discard contents responsibly.
- Dry the machine as best as possible after each clean. This will help prevent any corrosion or rust.
- Ensure any aggregate or stones are not stuck into the mixing blades. After each use, with the machine off check the mixing blades are free of any debris.
