Troubleshooting

HYT150 engine won't start

• Check the fuel tank to make sure there is enough fuel.
• Ensure the fuel valve is open.
• Ensure the engine switch is on.
• Carburettor is blocked - loosen the drain knob with the fuel valve ON. Fuel can flow out freely and then re-tighten the drain knob.
• No spark from the spark plug - remove and clean it if necessary.

HYT150 clutch not working

• The engine speed may be too low - open the throttle to increase the engine speed.
• If the belt is too long, there is a spring failure or bearing failure inside the gearbox, these need to be replaced.

HYT150 sliding

• If there is spring/belt failure, this will need to be replaced

HYT150 abnormal noise from gears

• Check for loose bearings, whether the drive shaft has deformed, or the gears have worn out. If you spot any of these issues, the part will need to be replaced.

HYT150 oil leakage

• If there is an 'O' type sealing failure, this will need to be replaced
• Check for loose bolts and tighten them if necessary
