Yes, it is possible to put too much oil into the machine. The main problem of doing this would be increased oil pressure, which could lead to oil leaks or engine failure.
My one is new and after emptying the grass cuttings, can I get the thing going again, just no way until after it cools down, witch is very frustrating, iv even be on the phone wanting to return it, but I will try this as I think that's exactly what the problem is and not the spark plug. Will let you know how it goes.

That did not work and its looking like its be sent out with a faulty spark plug
