• What fuel can be used in Hyundai and JCB space heaters?

1. White Diesel
2. Red Diesel
3. Kerosene

• Can a space heater be left running all day/night?

A space heater can be used like this, however, we would recommend allowing the heater to cool down after every 8 hours use. Please also note, a space heater should NEVER be left unattended.

• Can a space heater be used in a workshop?

Only if the workshop is well ventilated - a space heater should NEVER be used in an enclosed space.

• How should you maintain your space heater?

1. Clean the electrodes; replace as necessary.
2. Remove any carbon deposits from the combustion chamber.
3. Refer to the operating manual for your specific model of space heater.

• What should you do if your space heater won't start?

1. Check the fuse in the plug
2. Check the internal fuse on the control panel
3. Check the display (if fitted) for any error code
4. Refer to the troubleshooting section of your specific model's operating manual

• How often should servicing/maintenance be carried out?

Genpower recommends:

1. Flush fuel system every 200 hours, or as required
2. Clean or replace the air filter at least every 500 hours (depending on conditions)
3. Clean blades at least once every heating season
4. Clean or replace nozzles at least once every heating season
5. Clean and re-gap the electrodes after every 600 hours of operation
6. Clean photocell at least once every heating season
7. Clean fuel filter at least twice every heating season

• What should I do if my heater is not burning efficiently?

1. Clean or replace the air filter
2. Clean or replace the fuel filter
3. Flush fuel lines
4. Clean air intakes
5. If the unit has not been used for some time, drain fuel tank and replace with fresh fuel.
6. Refer to the troubleshooting section of your specific unit's operating manual
